Ingredients

meatballs
frozen, or use homemade

tomato
chopped
1
head
lettuce
chopped

feta

pita pockets

cup
veggie dip
For the homemade meatballs:
2¼
lbs.
ground beef
2
cups
bread crumbs
Panko or whole wheat
3
eggs
1
Tbs.
Worcestershire sauce
½

onion
diced
salt & pepper
Instructions
Bake meatballs according to package directions, or use the homemade meatballs recipe below.
Chop up the lettuce and tomato.
Once the meatballs are cooked, allow them to cool slightly.
Then put everything in the pita pocket.
Top with veggie dip and serve.
For the homemade meatballs:
Mix all the ingredients together in a stand mixer or by hand. If you like, add garlic, oregano, basil, parsley or other seasonings.
Roll into balls and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.
Cool and freeze any extra you have for future meals!

Notes: To make this a 15 minute meal, make meatballs ahead of time.
