15-Minute Grilled Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1½-2 lbs. deli turkey sliced
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread per person
  • 6-8 cheese slices
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 6-8 lettuce leaves
  • desired toppings such as mayonnaise or mustard
  • 4 Tbs. butter

Instructions

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread. 
  • Layer with turkey and cheese on the unbuttered sides.
  • Grill on griddle until desired brownness is achieved.
  • Top with desired toppings.
