- 2 slices whole wheat bread per person
- 6-8 cheese slices
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 6-8 lettuce leaves
- desired toppings such as mayonnaise or mustard

Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Layer with turkey and cheese on the unbuttered sides.
Grill on griddle until desired brownness is achieved.
