50's Prime Time Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • cup onions finely diced
  • cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • cup green bell pepper finely diced
  • 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 8-10 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 8-10 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the cheese and buns. 
  • Mix very well with your hands until completely combined.
  • Divide into 8-10 patties.
  • Grill over medium hot coals, about 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  • Top with cheese and serve on buns.
