50's Prime Time Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ lb. ground pork
  • 3 Tbs. onions finely diced
  • 3 Tbs. red bell pepper finely diced
  • 3 Tbs. green bell pepper finely diced
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ Tbs. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. Dijon mustard
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4-5 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4-5 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the cheese and buns. 
  • Mix very well with your hands until completely combined.
  • Divide into 4-5 patties.
  • Grill over medium hot coals, about 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  • Top with cheese and serve on buns.
