Whole Herb-Roasted Chicken in the Crockpot

- 1 whole chicken
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 1 stick butter softened
- 2 Tbs. fresh parsley minced
- 1 Tbs. fresh thyme minced
- 1 Tbs. fresh sage minced
Clean the chicken and remove the giblets from the insides.
Place the onions on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Mix together the butter and herbs and rub all over the chicken.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker on top of the onions.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 7-9 hours.
