Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 1 box devil's food cake
  • 3.4 oz. box instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 Tbs. cocoa
  • cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag chocolate chips

For the frosting:

  • 1 stick butter softened
  • cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 Tbs. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

For the cake:

  • Combine all the ingredients, except the chocolate chips, in a mixer bowl.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour into a well-greased 10" x 15" inch.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.

For the frosting:

  • Beat butter in mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and milk, alternating.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Mix until smooth and spreadable.
  • Spread onto cooled cake.
  • Cut cake into bars to serve.
