- 1 lb. penne pasta
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ½ onion diced
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1½ tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. parsley
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions till al dente.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic together.
Stir in remaining ingredients, except the cheese.
Heat sauce over medium heat until pasta is done.
Stir sauce into cooked and drained pasta.
Pour into 9x13 casserole dish.
Top with cheese.
Bake covered at 350° for 20-30 minutes.
