Spinach Salad with Spiced Nuts

For the pecans:
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 Tbs. butter
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- ½ tsp. seasoned salt
- ¼ tsp. garlic salt
- dash cayenne pepper
For the dressing:
- 2 Tbs. no sugar added apple juice
- 1 Tbs. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 Tbs. poppy seeds
For the salad:
- ½ bag of baby spinach
- 1 apple chopped and mixed with a bit of lemon juice to keep them from browning
- ½ cup chopped celery
For the pecans:
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the sugar and spices.
Stir over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
Add the pecans and stir about 4 min. over medium heat.
Pour them out onto a cutting board lined with wax paper and sprinkle them with sugar to make them sparkly.
