Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 15 oz. cans black beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 15 oz. cans dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 3 cups corn drained
  • 15 oz. can tomatoes with green chilies
  • 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 Tbs. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 3 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2-3 cups water

Instructions

  • Brown the meat and onion together.
  • Rinse under hot water to get rid of the fat.
  • Add the meat and remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
