Grilled Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • ¼ lb. deli ham
  • ¼ lb. deli turkey
  • ¼ lb. deli roast beef
  • 3-4 slices provolone cheese
  • 3-4 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 3-4 slices tomato
  • 1 small onion
  • 2-3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 6-8 slices bread like sourdough or oat
  • 1-2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 1-2 Tbs. mustard

Instructions

  • Set out ham, turkey, roast beef, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato.
  • Grill slices of onions by cutting them thick, brush with olive oil and lay them on the grill.
  • Flip them carefully so they don’t fall under the grid.
  • Brush olive oil on the outside of the bread and assemble the sandwiches.
  • Grill each side to desired doneness and until cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm.

Griddle or skillet instructions:

  • Heat to medium heat and follow the same steps as on the outdoor grill.
