For meatballs and pasta:
- 6 oz. penne pasta
- 1 lb. frozen meatballs or use homemade
- 1 onion diced
- 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 15 oz. diced tomatoes canned
- 4 oz. tomato sauce
- ½ 1 oz. ranch dressing mix
- ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
For homemade meatballs:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 onion small, shredded
- ⅓ cup plain breadcrumbs
For meatballs and pasta:
Mix together the onion, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and ranch dressing mix.
Stir in meatballs.
Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve over penne, topped with cheese.
For homemade meatballs:
In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, shredded onion and breadcrumbs.
Roll ground beef mixture into 1-1½ inch balls.
