Layered Coleslaw

- 5 oz. frozen peas
- 8 oz. slaw mix
- 4 oz. water chestnuts drained
- 2 Tbs. bacon bits
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ⅓ cup cheddar cheese shredded
Cook peas a few minutes, drain and run under cold water.
Layer slaw mix, peas, water chestnuts and bacon bits in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, parmesan, sugar, salt and pepper.
Spread the dressing on top of the salad.
Top with cheese. Toss before serving.
