Layered Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. frozen peas
  • 8 oz. slaw mix
  • 4 oz. water chestnuts drained
  • 2 Tbs. bacon bits
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • cup cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Cook peas a few minutes, drain and run under cold water.
  • Layer slaw mix, peas, water chestnuts and bacon bits in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, parmesan, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Spread the dressing on top of the salad.
  • Top with cheese. Toss before serving.
