Cinnamon Baked French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 6 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon divided
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar

Instructions

  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, syrup, 1 tsp. of cinnamon and salt.
  • Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture and then place on a well-greased baking sheet.
  • Combine brown sugar with remaining cinnamon and sprinkle over the bread slices.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
