Slow Cooker Italian Sausage and Peppers Sub Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage links
  • ½ onion sliced
  • 1 green pepper sliced
  • 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 3-4 hoagie rolls toasted
  • 3-4 slices
  • 3-4 Provolone cheese slices

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown the sausage on all sides.
  • Place sausage, onion, peppers, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning in slow cooker.
  • Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 6-7 hours.
  • Serve sausage and peppers on hoagie rolls, topped with cheese.
