Slow Cooker Italian Beef

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. roast
  • 3 Tbs. dry Italian dressing mix equivalent of 1 packet
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbs. brown gravy mix equivalent of 1 packet, mixed with 1 cup water
  • 1 green pepper sliced
  • 12 oz. pepperoncinis with juice

Instructions

  • Poke the meat with a fork or knife and put it in the crockpot.
  • Mix all the ingredients and pour over the meat.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
  • Shred and serve.
