Slow Cooker African Pulled Beef Sandwiches

For the sauce:
- 10 oz. greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 cucumber large, peeled and diced
- ½ tsp. mint dried
For the pulled beef:
- 2-3 lb. chuck roast
- 3-5 cloves garlic 1 whole and peeled, others crushed
- 1 tsp. cumin
- ½ tsp. ground red pepper cayenne
- ¼ tsp. allspice
- 1 onion diced
- 1 jalapeño seeds removed and diced
- 15 oz. petite tomatoes diced
- ½ cup beef broth pressure cooker
- 2 packages pita bread
For the pulled beef:
Cut one garlic clove in half and rub the roast all over with it.
Place the roast in the slow cooker and add remaining ingredients, sprinkling spices directly on the meat.
Cover and cook on high 5-6 hours or low 7-8 hours.
Remove meat from the crock and shred with a fork.
Return meat to the crock and stir to combine with juices from cooking the meat.
Serve the meat in pita bread with yogurt sauce.
