Ingredients

  • ½ lb. great northern beans
  • ¾ lb. ham steak with bone
  • 3-3½ cups water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Soak beans overnight.
  • Dice ham.
  • Place beans, ham and the ham bone in the slow cooker.
  • Cover with 3-3½ cups of water.
  • Cook on high 7-8 hours.
  • Taste and season with salt.
