Slow Cooker Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce

- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 12 oz. can tomato paste
- 1½ cups water
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbs. parmesan cheese
- 8-10 oz. spaghetti for serving
If frozen, thaw in the fridge overnight.
Cook according to the following directions.
Combine all ingredients, except spaghetti, in the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Serve over spaghetti.
