Slow Cooker Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 12 oz. cans tomato paste
  • 3 cups water
  • 28 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 16-20 oz. spaghetti for serving

Instructions

  • If frozen, thaw in the fridge overnight.
  • Cook according to the following directions.
  • Combine all ingredients, except spaghetti, in the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  • Serve over spaghetti.
