Instant Pot Beef Shawarma

Ingredients

For the shawarma:

  • 3 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper ground
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1-1½ lbs. boneless beef steak thin cut
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • 3-4 pita bread rounds

For the cucumber sauce:

  • 4 oz. plain or Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • ½ small cucumber chopped

Instructions

For the shawarma:

  • Place meat in the pressure cooker pot.
  • Stir together all other ingredients except Greek yogurt, cucumber and pita, and pour over meat.
  • Set cook time to 15 minutes.
  • Do a quick pressure release.
  • Serve with meat in pitas.

For the cucumber sauce:

  • Combine the yogurt and cucumber.
