steel cut oats

cups
apple juice

cups
water
⅓
cup
brown sugar
or less according to your tastes

cinnamon

tsp.
vanilla

dash
nutmeg

apple
peeled and finely diced
Instructions
Spray inside of the crock with cooking spray.
Stir together all ingredients in a bowl.
Pour into crock. Cook on low 4-5 hours.
Serve with milk.

Notes:
If you want to cook your oatmeal overnight but your slow cooker doesn’t have a delay function, you can plug it in to a timer – like you would use to automatically turn on holiday lights – to make it kick on during the night.
