Ingredients

  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup flour
  • tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ stick butter melted
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 small egg
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  • Stir the first 4 ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Stir the sugar into the melted butter.
  • Add the egg and milk.
  • Pour this into the dry ingredients and stir, just to combine.
  • Divide into 6 greased muffin cups.
  • Bake at 425° for 15-20 minutes.
