- ½ cup cornmeal
- ½ cup flour
- 1½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ stick butter melted
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 1 small egg
- ½ cup milk
Stir the first 4 ingredients together in a bowl.
Stir the sugar into the melted butter.
Add the egg and milk.
Pour this into the dry ingredients and stir, just to combine.
Divide into 6 greased muffin cups.
Bake at 425° for 15-20 minutes.
