Instant Pot Italian Sausage and Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • ½-¾ lbs. Italian sausage links casing removed or bulk sausage
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 15 oz. can butter beans undrained
  • 15 oz. can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz. can diced tomatoes or fire-roasted tomatoes undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • ¼ cup Parmesan shredded for topping each bowl

Instructions

  • Hit the sauté button.
  • Cook the sausage, onion, and garlic and cook until sausage is cooked through.
  • Drain the grease.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except cheese, and set cook time for 5 minutes.
  • Do a quick pressure release.
  • Serve in bowls and top with Parmesan cheese
