Grab and Go Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients

  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Mix oil, brown sugar, egg, milk, peanut butter and vanilla in an electric mixer till well combined.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Mix in chocolate chips.
  • Press into greased 9 x 13 or 10 x 15 pan.
  • The size pan will determine the thickness of the bars, but either size will work.
  • Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool and cut into bars.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and store in freezer.
