Apple Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1½ cups apple chopped, I used 2 apples
  • ½ cup walnuts optional
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ Tbs. cinnamon

Instructions

  • Grease a 9″ square baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the melted butter, sugar and egg.
  • Stir in the apples and nuts.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients and pour into the pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
