Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken tenders thawed
  • 2-3 Tbs. light Italian dressing
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese shaved
  • ½ onion diced
  • 1-2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 28 oz. crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. thyme leaves
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. penne pasta cooked

Instructions

  • Sprinkle the dressing over the chicken tenders.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil and cook the chicken over medium heat until done.
  • Flip halfway through cooking to brown both sides.
  • Top the cooked chicken with shaved parmesan, while the chicken is still in the pan. F
  • Flip the chicken and top the other side with parmesan.
  • Cook 1-2 minutes, then remove chicken from pan.
  • Add onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper to skillet.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Return chicken to the pan and cook 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve chicken and sauce over cooked pasta.
