- 1 lb. chicken tenders thawed
- 1-1½ Tbs. light Italian dressing
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 Tbs. Parmesan cheese shaved
- ¼ onion diced
- 1 clove garlic crushed crushed
- 15 oz. crushed tomatoes
- ½ tsp. basil
- ¾ tsp. oregano
- ½ tsp. thyme leaves
- salt & pepper to taste
- ½ lb. penne pasta cooked
Sprinkle the dressing over the chicken tenders.
In a large skillet, heat the oil and cook the chicken over medium heat until done.
Flip halfway through cooking to brown both sides.
Top the cooked chicken with shaved parmesan, while the chicken is still in the pan.
Flip the chicken and top the other side with parmesan.
Pour sauce over chicken and simmer 5 minutes to heat sauce.
Serve chicken and sauce over cooked pasta.
