Ravioli with Red Onion, White Wine and Asiago

Ingredients

  • 24 oz. bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • ¼ red onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 1 cup half and half warmed
  • ½ cup Asiago cheese shredded
  • 1 Tbs. fresh basil chopped
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil for the ravioli and cook according to package directions.
  • Melt butter in a skillet and cook the onion and garlic until softened.
  • Add the white wine to the skillet and cook for a minute.
  • Whisk in the half and half.
  • Stir in the cheese over medium-low heat until it melts.
  • Add the basil and pepper.
  • When the ravioli is cooked and drained, combine with the sauce and serve.
