- 2 15 oz. cns chickpeas
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp. dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. tamari
- 2 Tbs. lemon juice
- ¼ tsp. cumin
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
Drain both cans of chickpeas, reserving the liquid.
Place ¼ cup of the chickpea liquid, and all the other ingredients in a high-powered blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth, adding more chickpea liquid if needed for consistency.
Note: Use this hummus for sandwiches, wraps, as a dip or stir into salad greens as a dressing.
