olive oil

bulk Italian sausage
browned

onion
chopped

cloves
garlic
crushed or minced

crushed tomatoes

tomato paste

fresh basil
chopped or 2 Tbs. dried basil

sugar
salt & pepper
to taste
Instructions
Cook the sausage, onion and garlic in olive oil in a large skillet until the sausage is cooked through.
Stir frequently to break up the sausage.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste until well blended.
Add the basil, sugar, salt and pepper.
Let simmer until the pasta is finished cooking.
