Onions with Herbs and Wine

Ingredients

  • 4 onions sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced or crushed
  • 1-2 Tbs. olive oil
  • oregano to taste
  • basil to taste
  • thyme to taste
  • ¼-⅓ cup white wine
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the onions and garlic until softened and just beginning to brown. 
  • Add the herbs and stir in the wine. 
  • Simmer until the onions are tender, about 10 minutes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
