- 4 onions sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced or crushed
- 1-2 Tbs. olive oil
- oregano to taste
- basil to taste
- thyme to taste
- ¼-⅓ cup white wine
- salt & pepper to taste
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the onions and garlic until softened and just beginning to brown.
Add the herbs and stir in the wine.
Simmer until the onions are tender, about 10 minutes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
