Pumpkin French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8-10 slices thick hearty bread French or Challah work well
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • cups milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • pinch allspice
  • pinch cloves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  • Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray and lay bread in the bottom.
  • Whisk together the pumpkin, milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, and vanilla.
  • Pour over the bread slices and let sit for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes, until cooked through.
