Stromboli

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves bread dough frozen & thawed
  • 4 egg yolks save the whites
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbs. parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 4 cups pepperoni sausage ham, veggies etc.
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 14 oz. jars pizza sauce warmed

Instructions

  • Spread the dough into a large rectangle on a buttered cookie sheet, like a pizza crust.
  • Mix the next 7 ingredients and spread like butter on the crust.
  • Layer the fillings and top with cheese.
  • Roll it up starting with the long edge so you end up with a long, log shape. Place it seam-side down on the cookie sheet and brush with the reserved egg white.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
  • Slice and serve with the pizza sauce.
