Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs. butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 Tbs. flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 2 cups vermicelli noodles broken
  • 2-3 cups chicken cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups milk warmed
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Cook onion in butter until soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir flour into the onion until it makes a smooth paste and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add broth and poultry seasoning and increase heat to medium-high.
  • Add the noodles and cook for about 10 minutes or until the noodles are soft.
  • Add the chicken and milk and heat through.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve.
