Cheater Chinese Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2-4 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2-3 cups broccoli or a favorite veggie
  • 1½-2 lbs. chicken cooked and cut into bite-size chunks
  • 1-2 cups General Tso’s Sauce
  • 1 head Chinese cabbage
  • ¼-½ cup sesame seeds toasted, optional
  • ¼-½ cup green onions for serving

Instructions

  • Place a little olive oil in your skillet.
  • Heat on medium heat.
  • Add onion to pan and saute until translucent.
  • Add garlic & broccoli. Give it a good stir.
  • Add cooked chicken and sauce.
  • Bring to a simmer.
  • When sauce begins to thicken, add Chinese cabbage.
  • Go ahead and fill the pan, because the cabbage will wilt and reduce in size, a lot!
  • Carefully mix cabbage into the sauce, chicken and veggies. It only takes a few minutes for the cabbage to begin to wilt.
  • Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
