Kale Chips

Ingredients

For kale chips:

  • 6-8 cups kale
  • 2-3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbs. homemade seasoned salt or other seasoning*

For seasoned salt:

  • ¼ cup onion powder
  • ¼ cup garlic powder
  • ¼ cup black pepper
  • 2 Tbs. chili powder
  • 3 Tbs. paprika
  • ½ cup Himalayan salt or sea salt
  • 2 Tbs. dried parsley leaves optional
  • 1 Tbs. ground red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

For kale chips:

  • Clean kale and dry. Tear stems from kale and break into bite-sized pieces.
  • Drizzle olive oil over kale and stir to coat. Only a light coating is needed
  • Sprinkle with homemade seasoned salt.
  • Arrange in single layer on oiled baking sheet(s). Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, till crisp but not burnt.
  • Cool and eat.

For seasoned salt:

  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight casserole.
