Ingredients

  • tsp. butter
  • ½ onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced or crushed
  • 15 oz. can kidney or pinto beans drained
  • 2-4 oz. can green chilies chopped
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a skillet.
  • Cook the onion and garlic in the butter until soft.
  • Add the beans to the skillet and mash them with a fork.
  • Stir in the chopped green chilies and tomato sauce.
  • Heat until hot and bubbly.
