Spring Mix and Avocados Salad

Ingredients

For the salad:

  • 12-16 cups spring mix lettuce
  • 2 shallots thinly sliced
  • 2 avocados diced
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • ¾ lb. chicken grilled and diced

For the dressing:

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbs. dried parsley

Instructions

For the salad:

  • In a large bowl, toss together the lettuce, shallots, avocado, and almonds.
  • Top with chicken, if desired and add dressing to taste.

For the dressing:

  • Mix all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
