Eat at Home Challenge Affiliate ResourceS

Description

An Eat at Home Challenge is a great way to create content for your audience that delivers simple, easy, problem-solving results for them. Any topic that solves a problem around dinner time makes a great challenge.

Examples of possible Challenges:

  • Slow cooker challenge - help readers get dinner done early in the day
  • Eat at home for 7 days
  • Freezer challenge - Use the 1 hour freezer plan included each month to get 6 dinners done in 1 hour
  • Save money by eating at home - Focus on budget and saving money
  • Kitchen challenge (incorporating cleaning/organizing and cooking)
  • Family dinner challenge with a focus on connecting around the table

Challenges provide value for your audience and create revenue for you through Eat at Home memberships.

Best Times to Use It

This can be scheduled any time that works for you and your audience. I recommend a 5-7 day Challenge.

Step-by-Step Marketing Strategy

Here are the steps to creating your Eat at Home Challenge:

Decide your challenge topic and challenge name.

Tips: Make this something that solves a problem for your audience and ties into the meal plans. See the list above for ideas.

Your Challenge Dates

Schedule the 5-7 Day Challenge.  Consider starting and ending on a Tuesday for maximum audience engagement, although your audience may be more receptive on other days. Do what works for you.

If you’re going to cook live on Facebook or another platform, you might also want to promote a few days before you get started, so that people can purchase and have access to the menu you’ll be using. This strategy works well for affiliates who use it.

Decide which meal plan type you will cook with.

(Traditional, Wholesome, Slow Cooker/Instant Pot or No Flour/No Sugar)  For the best results during your challenge, you’ll want to cook through a one week menu.  You may also want to try it for a week or a few days before your challenge starts.

Decide your sale code and let Tiffany know.

The sale code will be set up for you to give your audience a discount on the meal plans and give them a reason to buy now.

During Challenge - Take daily photos and/or videos of the meals you make on your social media and possibly on your blog. Every one of these social media posts should have your affiliate link to the sales page.

You don’t have to do all of these, but the more you do the greater the results you’ll see.

Double check that your affiliate referral link from Samcart is included in every email, blog post, social media post!

Testimonials you can add to your emails:

I've used the meal plans for 2 weeks and it has changed my dinner/what to eat stress level dramatically! I love the color coding grocery list. It's just my husband and I so each week I don't need to purchase items for all the meals. I have used other systems in the past and they ended up having lots of meals we didn't like. These meals have been SO GOOD with foods we like! I have mostly used the whole foods plan and lots of the crock pot meals. I love it! -- April R.

We have just started with this and so far we love it! Great menus and I love the color coding. It makes it so easy. Plus I really love that I get traditional, whole food and crock pot menus. It's so nice to have a choice:) Great job with these I'm really excited to have them and can't wait to try them all! --Kristin

And KUDOS to you for offering such a terrific service...with two active high schoolers without drivers licenses I find I'm spending more time perfecting my Über qualifications than my kitchen skills ;-)  Your 15 minute meals along with the slow cooker plan are sure to add some much needed variety to the couple dozen "go to" dishes I serve routinely. --LindaG.

How to Set Up Your Affiliate Links

It’s important that you always copy/paste your affiliate link directly from SamCart. Don’t copy/paste the link after clicking the link, because it will change and then won’t track your sales.

You can use a link shortener like Bit.ly or Ow.ly to shorten your affiliate link to use with your posts.
